"Absolutely beautiful coat but recommend getting at least 1 if not 2 sizes bigger. Granddaughter is almost 6 year old and wears a size 4, but the size 6 fit her perfectly. She loves it and feels absolutely beautiful in it, but needs help buttoning and snapping the belt."

"We just purchased the coat and matching hat at American Girl, New York City. The coat is very well made and stylish in person. My daughter loved how soft it felt. We purchased it one size up for a bit of extra room and extended wear, and that still worked fine. It is the perfect weight for chilly Fall days and early Winter. The only negative is that the button and loop closures take a bit of time to do and undo, but my seven year old didn't seem to mind. Overall, a really nice and even dressy coat."
