"I got this outfit because it was part of a special sale if you bought the western horse. Which seems silly because the doll can't ride side-saddle. I would have preferred it come with jeans, but I'm sure my daughter won't care. The hat is so cute, and I love how it came in it's own box, just like my own cowboy hat! Since I sew I'll probably whip up some jeans for the doll to ride in, and we'll save the skirt for when there is a hoedown at the barn!"

"My daughter asked for this outfit after she saw it in the catalogue. Less than a month later it was on sale for an exceptional price. She likes the outfit and uses several of these pieces to mix with other outfits she has. I agree with other reviewers that pants might have been a better choice for riding, but since my daughter doesn't have any of the horses, it isn't an issue for us. The outfit and boots are easy to get on and off even for younger girls. The details are fantastic and the hat is absolutely perfect!"
